Latest Updates Upgradation Computer Professionals in Punjab
Government of the Punjab, Finance Department has issued letter No. FD.PC.39-14/77(P-IV)/526/16 dated 24-02-2017 in connection with Latest Updates Upgradation Computer Professionals in Punjab.
According to this letter, I am directed to refer to your letter of the dated 17-01-2017 on the subject cited above and to say that a committee was constituted under the convenershhip of Finance Secretary by Additional Chief Secretary in order to examine the demands of the civil servants with regard to upgradation of the technical/non technical posts.
The committee submitted its recommendations to ACS. Subsequently the Additional Chief Secretary submitted it to Chief Secretary. The approval of Chief Secretary is still awaited in this regard. Hence the committee has completed its task and is not functional.
